MANDARAM NUWARA Good Wood Hill Resort

Mandaram Nuwara   Mandaram Nuwara is a beautiful little village situated in the foot hills of Piduruthalagala on the Walapane side. In fact from Mandaram Nuwara you can climb over Piduruthalagala Mountains and reach Nuwara Eliya. To reach Mandaram Nuwara, you have to go to Kandy and get in to Walapane bus. Passing Rikillagaskada the bus will reach “Padiyapalella”, a small town on the way to Walapane from Kandy. Few hundard meters before Padiyapelella town there is a road to right which goes to Mandaram Nuwara (This road ends at Mandaram nuwara as this is the last village boadering Piduruthalagala Forest Reserve) . From padiyapelella town there is a bus service operating to Mandaram Nuwara. This is one of the most beautiful unspoiled areas in Sri Lanka. Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya

Royal Botanic Gardens ,  Peradeniya  are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of  Kandy  in the Central Province of  Sri Lanka . It attracts 2 million visitors annually. [1]  It is near the  Mahaweli River  (the longest in Sri Lanka). [2]  It is renowned for its collection of  orchids . The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. [1] Attached to it is the  National Herbarium of Sri Lanka . The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres (0.59 km 2 ), at 460 meters above sea level, and with a 200-day annual rainfall. It is managed by the Division of National Botanic Gardens of the Department of Agriculture.

Temple of the Tooth - ශ්‍රී දළදා මාළිගාව

Sri Dalada Maligawa  or the  Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic  is a  Buddhist  temple in the city of  Kandy ,  Sri Lanka . It is located in the royal palace complex of the former  Kingdom of Kandy , which houses the  relic of the tooth of the Buddha . Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a  World Heritage Site  mainly due to the temple.
